FAQs

  • Full Arch implant surgery and restoration (also known as All-on-4) is a procedure that removes all remaining dentition due to chronic dental disease, and placing 4 or more implants that provide anchors and support for a fixed full arch dental prosthesis. This procedure aims to remove disease and immediately restore function and aesthetics in one surgery.

  • Full arch implant surgery is really designed for patients that have either missing teeth completely and cannot tolerate having a traditional denture, or their remaining teeth and bone cannot be restored in a cost and time effective manner.

Over time after tooth loss, bone naturally resorbs away. To regain that bone is likely no simple task. Rebuilding the bone and restoring the remaining teeth may involve multiple surgeries and added financial strain to graft, lift, place and restore dental implants.

The full arch implant surgery aims to achieve the same results in one procedure. One procedure means less surgeries, less chair time, less downtime, less risk, and less financial strain.

  • Yes, all patients receive teeth the same day. In majority of cases, patients leave surgery with a fixed temporary bridge, allowing them to smile with confidence right away. However, it’s important to understand that every patient is unique, and individual healthy factors-such as bone levels and quality-can influence the best course of treatment.

In certain situations, it’s safest to allow more time for the implants to fully integrate with the bone prior to placing a fixed bridge. In those cases, patients may leave with a temporary denture instead. Our ultimate goal is always to deliver a fixed full-arch temporary the day of surgery whenever possible, but your safety, healing, and long-term success come first. We are prepared for all scenarios

  • The final prosthesis is made from, zirconia, a strong and highly durable ceramic oxide material known for its longevity and natural appearance. In some cases, the zirconia may be reinforced with a titanium bar inside for added strength and support when necessary.

Each Prosthesis is custom-designed based on your individual anatomy, space availability, and bite dynamics to ensure both comfort and function.
